Geotagger

Geotag is a program I wrote in vb.net after taking around 200 photographs for a survey only to find my GPS hadn't recorded any of their locations. I searched Google for a tool to enter the locations into the photograph's EXIF header manually but couldn't find one and resorted to making something myself.

The program is very intuitive: You load your photographs into the program, you click on where each one was taken, then you press save. The original files are not overwritten, and you can add a stamp on the photo with the location in case you are viewing it in an application which does not understand the EXIF tags.

The program is available to download here free of charge. It comes with no warranty and although I've spent a couple of weeks using and testing it, I cannot guarantee that it is bug free.

The program uses the Ordnance Survey's online mapping, therefore you will need to register on their website and get your own API key to use the program. Also, because the program uses the Ordnance Survey's mapping, the software is only of use if your photographs were taken in Great Britain or the Isle of Man (i.e. the extent of the OS mapping).
